NationaLight

PEG COBLE - Secretary/Treasure

In 1995, I was a member of a small country church, waiting on the Lord for the fulfillment of the visions he had given me of taking the Gospel to the nations and for an opportunity to write for Him. He answered my prayers of desperation by sending NationaLight Ministries and Brother Johnny Mays to Thorp to do a series of meetings. I had just completed a 2 year theology course and I was believing God would somehow open a door for me to minister. By the end of October of that year, I was in Russia with a team and Brother Johnny asked me to do his newsletter. I continue to work behind the scenes to administrate the ministry and have traveled to several countries to reach the lost, and encourage and love the body of Christ throughout the world.

The first and foremost assignment the Holy Spirit gave me was to be an intercessor for John and Judy Mays and their family. I thank God for the NationaLight team members who join me in covering John and Judy with their prayers. The Holy Spirit has since extended that assignment to cover all the pastors and families and churches where Johnny and I have ministered and now am also a part of a county wide interdenominational intercessors group which is affiliated with the United States Strategic Prayer Network located in Colorado Springs, CO.

My husband, Jim and I have been married for 35 years, have two wonderful daughters and two precious granddaughters. We have been a part of Thorp Community Church since 1980. As a mother, I give thanks as well for the spiritual family God has provided throughout the world, especially Drs. Stephen and Esther Ngethe of Kenya. My vocation for 35 years has been the field of nursing, the last 11 years doing ministry as a hospice nurse. God is great and greatly to be praised!
