THE
NEWLY FORMED CHURCH IN LONDON - WORLD HARVEST CHURCH. The LORD will
indeed give what is good, and our land will yield its harvest. Ps
85:12 Pastor Alex, holding daughter Allison, Dr. Johnny Mays, Pastor's wife Valentine with son Elijah and, NationaLight Ministries Secretary Peggy Coble. In the year 1994, Dr. Mays first met Alexsey Ilyin he was then living in his home town of Zarisk, Russia. After Brother Mays first visited Alex's town, Alex invited Brother Mays back to stay in his home. It was a very interesting visit. They taught each other their respective languages because neither could hardy speak the others language. Dr. Mays worked among the Russian saints in Zarisk and after a couple months Brother Mays returned to the States and a short time later Alex would go off to Moscow to attend Bible School. After graduation from Bible School, Alex married and shortly there after he and his wife came to London and ask for political asylum. It would be in London that the children would be born. In 1999 when Dr. Mays came to London, he renewed his relationship with Alex and then on a subsequent return trip to London in April of 2000, Brother Mays began to see the need of a church to minister to the Russian people living in London.
In June of 2000 After his 14th crusade to Russia, Dr. Mays returned to England and on the 16th day of that month he ordained the Pastor a church was born. Together they began to forge the model for the kind of church they believed that God wanted. In September of 2000 the church was able to take occupancy of their own building. This facility belongs to the Edgeware Apostolic Church. However Pastor's Paul and Patrick worked with Dr. Mays. The new Pastors of World Harvest Church - Pastor Dima and Family. Pastor Dima and Pastor Alex were school pals back and Russia and were part of the church in Zariska where they were both living when Brother Mays met them in 1995. Later they both came to London as asylum seekers Pastor Alex to secure these facilities for the work of the ministry.
